i actually watch and follow the Olympics on tv!
(yea you know me. i hardly watch any sports on tv)
not all sports though. only swimming and bball (Men's) and a bit of gymnastics.
i dont know why, but watching the female bball is so NOT exciting. i just can't pinpoint the reason.
i watch bball cus my sisters influenced me to watch.
both of them played in their school teams before so they know the rules and all that.
unlike me, who doesnt have a single sports gene. haha, boohoo.
anw, we watched the match b/w USA and China.
Yao Ming is SO overrated. *rolls eyes* so what if he's damn tall lah?!
he fell on his butt clumsily for like 3 times in only the first 2 quarters of the match? (dont really rmb)
i think its because: taller=higher centre of gravity=more unstable=falls more easily=me laughing out loud.
but this is the first and only (so far) match i watched with yao ming playing, so i may be wrong? but haiya i just dont like him, hmph.
needless to say the US team is much much stronger and more united.
i love LeBron James!! he is SO MAN. *shrieks* haha.
and Dwyane Wade, he's damn good a shooter.
that Anthony guy is not bad too. (:
and duh, Kobe Bryant is one of the best-est.
eh actually i think they're all equally good. (haha do i sound like a bball noob? well i am)
didnt bother to see their individual scored points though.
i watched them play against Angola just now. haha. Angola. like what country is that? x: but they're not bad la. a whole lot better than China.
i watch swimming bcus the competitors are all shuai-ges who are either half naked or in skintight swimsuits. HAHA. KIDDING.
Michael Phelps ROCKS!!! so hot so hot SO HOT. haha. and he's broken so many records i can't even keep track of them. awesome!
he's cute too! and wait till you see him swim. (: you'll be awed as well.
and he's like so young - 23 yr old. was quite surprised cus i thought he's 28 or 29. haha.
for gymnastics, they tend to get a lil boring after a few candidates and after i drop my jaws and realise what they do is sorta the 'norm' (almost every competitor there can do it). oh well. i guess i just dont know how to appreciate it.
okay! tmr (errr, technically its TODAY cus its around 2:41am now) is my free day! FINALLY. i love wednesdayssss! and my boyfriend. and MP! HAHA.
